Definition of what products or services will be provided
1. Please be advised on requirement of space. For us to operate we must be able to park our vehicle next to or behind or in front of your vehicle. We will also need enough workspace around the vehicle to open all of the doors fully, this is to ensure we can access the vehicle comfortably and safely. Our pressure washer lance is over a metre in length so if any other vehicles are too close to your vehicle, we will not take the risk.
2. We require a safe place to plug our extension lead in to gain power. Due to insurance and health and safety procedures and vehicle safety Finer Details (Direct) Ltd will NOT commence work on any vehicle that is on the main road, heavily used road, or small and tight access roads. We also cannot work in council pay and display car parks etc.
3. If at your home address or desired location the works cannot be carried out for any of the above issues, please contact us first, we are always willing to help try find a mutual solution.
4. Finer Details (Direct) Ltd have no control over the weather, traffic on the roads and any unforeseen circumstances but we will always do our upmost to make sure we never miss a booking.
a) On the unlikely event we have to re-arrange a booking, please be assured that you will be re-booked within 21 days.
Payments & Charges
5. All appointments made must be requested by the owner of the vehicle. Please notify at least 48 hours’ notice for postponement to enable ample time for the slot to be offered to other customers who could benefit from our services. 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations, less than 24 hours' notice will be charged at 50% of the original booking.
6. All non- maintenance service bookings are deposit-based, and bookings are not confirmed until a deposit has been paid. Deposits are paid direct to Finer Details (Direct) Ltd via bank transfer. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Deposit amounts differ due to location, package, and/or work needed.
Service delivery
7. Vehicles over 5 years + are valeted/detailed at the owner’s risk, as older vehicles may have weaker plastics and paintwork with untreated defects.
8. We take pictures of every vehicle we work on, ensuring that number-plates are covered for our marketing purposes and social media platforms. If you have any concerns with this, please let us know.
9. All packages offered come with the condition prices and times stated are based on a car being washed withing 4-6 weeks, this also will vary dependent on size of car being worked on and the level of cleaning required. Our packages can go outside of the set time limits, particularly with high end vehicles, excessively dirty exterior / interiors, including heavy soils, pet hair or excess dust removal etc.
10. Services will be carried out as advised in the package options chosen, however Finer Details (Direct) Ltd reserves the right to make adjustments needed to these package options at our discretion. Any adjustments and additional services may come at an additional cost, all customers will be consulted with first regarding additional cost. We will only undergo the full service once the price has been agreed
11. Upon every booking you will be asked to review our terms and conditions, by confirming the booking you agree to our terms of business.
12. MAINTENANCE WASH It’s as it describes: This package was created so that your car can be valeted/Detailed once a month. If this time frame is exceeded, we cannot offer our maintenance service at a maintenance price as you exceed the maintenance time frame. If your car has been off roading, had excessive use or any form of spillage or soiling within the vehicle, please let us know before hand as this will require more time. Failure to do so will have a knock-on effect to our diary. We ask that you respect this request so not to cause us to be late for our following appointments.

13. Upon booking we will ask you to provide your contact details: address, telephone and email and description of vehicle description Make, model, colour & condition
We will capture these on as secure portal whereby only Finer Details (Direct) Ltd will have access to this information. This information will only be used to contact you directly with booking, marketing and other such related to services offered by Finer Details (Direct) Ltd.
By providing us your details you opt into us contacting you through these methods.

We promise to uphold our values: Detailing with precision, Trust & Integrity. We ask that you adhere to our Terms and Conditions so that we can deliver on this promise to all our customers. Your acceptance to our services are conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with the Finer Details (Direct) Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions apply to all, users and others who access the service provided by Finer Details (Direct) Ltd. By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, please inform us before we start works on your vehicle
Changes to These Terms and Conditions
15. We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our service after those revisions become effective, You agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, in whole or in part, please do not book a service until you have spoken to us and confirmed.
